The table is where life happens
Some of life's most meaningful moments happen around the table—the first cup of coffee in the morning, a bottle of wine opened for no reason, a dinner that lingers because no one wants the evening to end.
Atelier Quince began with a simple belief: the place where we gather deserves as much care as the people we gather with. We create objects that make everyday rituals feel more thoughtful, more beautiful, and more connected.
How it began
For more than fifteen years, San Francisco was home to me. Somewhere in those years — in the fog rolling over the bay, the light falling across the hills, the quiet colors of the city — I fell in love with a certain kind of everyday beauty, and I never wanted to let it go. Atelier Quince began as a way to keep it. That love became our very first collection, The Autumn City by the Bay — the seasons, the light, and the shifting moods of San Francisco gathered into a palette of colors you could set on your own table. It was where everything started.
Since launching in Seoul in 2020, Atelier Quince has grown from Korea's leading department stores—including Hyundai, and Shinsegae—to homes and tables around the world. From those first shelves, our story has since crossed the ocean, growing from Seoul to the United States, and to tables far beyond where it began.
Every collection, a memory
Each collection holds a piece of San Francisco and a feeling I wanted to keep. Our signature Rhapsody in Blue was born one evening at the San Francisco Symphony; The Fog City by the Bay from the fog that wraps the city; Life is All About Pattern from the simple truth that our days weave into one pattern of living. Every piece is made by skilled artisans around the world, in thoughtful, limited runs — one cherished object meant to last, rather than a hundred that don't.

The dining table is where we spend the best of our lives. That is where I want Atelier Quince to live: connecting people, gathering them close, and sharing something beautiful in the moments we return to again and again.

Every Atelier Quince piece is shaped by the craft of skilled artisans around the world, each object carrying a little of the place and the hands it came from. We make in thoughtful, limited runs rather than mass quantities, so nothing loses the sense of care behind it. I would rather make one cherished piece that stays in your home for years than a hundred that don't.
