Rhapsody in Blue Collection draws its inspiration from George Gershwin’s 1924 masterwork — a composition that dissolved the boundary between classical music and jazz, and in doing so, created something entirely its own.

Gershwin’s instinct was to honor tradition by reimagining it. Atelier Quince follows that same line of thinking. Through the Rhapsody in Blue Collection, the centuries-old craft of lacquerware is reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility — resulting in pieces that carry the weight of tradition and the ease of modern living in equal measure.
Art for the table.

Art for the home. Art made to be used.

• Wipe up spills and stains immediately.
• Avoid sharp cutlery, rough-bottomed dinnerware, and abrasive cleaners.
• Keep away from moisture, alcohol, direct sunlight, heat, and sudden temperature changes.
• Do not soak in water or use in the dishwasher, microwave, oven, or on an induction cooktop.
• As each piece is meticulously handcrafted, slight variations in color, texture, and surface markings are natural and not considered defects.
• Minor scratches and signs of use may develop over time.
